Starting a New Practice
ClientTracker has eased the launch of my new practice because it is essentially my one-stop electronic system for client scheduling, electronic charting specific to acupuncture and herbal medicine, inventory management, and basic finances including invoices, sales reports, and keeping track of client payments and history. Needing only one software program for these functions reduces the cost and complexity of my practice start-up, and helps maintain a systematic process in operations.
I find ClientTracker's integrated functions, ease of use, formating specific to my field (acupuncture and oriental medicine), and flexibility with modifiable templates a great choice for the operation of my new clinic. It has given me a clear solution to running my practice with the least amount of software programs.
I am very pleased by ClientTracker's new capability to link external documents such as digital pictures, lab results, or personal reports, and the client communications features which allow me to keep track of communication history and external documents for each client.
ClientTracker's integrated insurance billing and easy 1500 form have eased some of my anxiety as I plan how to provide insurance billing for clients with the launch of my new practice. This feature gives me a clearer picture of the process I will use to not only bill insurance providers, but how I will track payments to client accounts with the longer payment cycles typical of insurance companies.

Private Practice & Hospital Practice
I have been using ClientTracker for years now - it is the most thoughtful, detailed and intuitive client management program! I used to use AcuBase prior to switching to CT and it is a world of difference (in program and in price).
Patient management rocks - the client page has everything at a glance. You can attach .pdf files (like bloodwork) and photos (injuries, etc) with ease. And correspondence - well no more searching thru your emails for what you sent when - CT allows you to click thru and send thru the patient file so you have a record of every email, phone call, and letter all in the patient's database.
SOAP notes are great - I can click on anatomical illustration to indicate area of treatment. I can also record TCM and western notes.
HFCA forms are auto-fill and easy to complete - now sending in insurance forms doesn't take me forever, so I get paid faster!
Financial data - I can see how I'm trending by the month, or for a custom period. Since I have to file sales tax quarterly, ClientTracker makes it easy by giving me exactly the data I need in a few clicks.
SUPPORT - ClientTracker support is friendly, responsive and smart. You email them, they respond within 24 hours with a timetable or a solution.
MAC friendly - the design and format of the program is elegant and easy to navigate (especially if you are not a manual reader, like me) BUT if you do need a manual - there is a an eco-friendly online manual for easy access, whenever you need it.
It took them a while to get the new 4.0 version out, but it was worth the wait and delay. I also believe in supporting small businesses and new software companies since it is a struggle to compete with the big tech firms with loads of capital, buy your ClientTracker today, you'll be more efficient!

Naturopathy & Acupuncture Practice
I've been using Client Tracker since I began my practice, and find it invaluable in managing a solo practice.
I love the electronic insurance billing capabilities. I spend maybe ten minutes entering a new patient's information when they first come in, and from then on, creating a CMS-1500 form or superbill for each visit takes perhaps 10 seconds each time. Creating a batch of electronic bills at the end of the week similarly takes under five minutes to create the batch and upload it to the electronic clearing house. I watch colleagues writing out insurance claim forms, again and again filling in the same patient's information, and I can't imagine how they do it--I'd rather spend that time on patient care. When the EOB comes back in, again Client Tracker is great for recording what the insurance company did and didn't pay, and keeping track of what the patient owes.
The new SOAP notes in version 4.0 are my favorite part of the update. They are now highly customizable, and I can create templates that work for me in my combined naturopathic/acupuncture practice, with different templates for adult and pediatric visits, naturopathic and acupuncture. I can easily switch which template I am using, or choose any previous visit with that patient as a template. Also, now I can choose diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and medicinary items prescribed from drop down menus within the chart notes. Those go in the notes for my medical record keeping and then when I create an invoice from my SOAP (CMS-1500, superbill or a simple invoice) the codes and medicinary are already filled in from my SOAP note choices.
Additionally, I use Client Tracker to keep track of my inventory, and especially with the updated interface in version 4.0 this is very smooth. At the end of the year, the reports that Client Tracker generates are very useful for taxes.
